Trains in Granada
In the province there are only two stations of relevance, those of Granada and Loja.
Granada is connected by train to Almeria, Algeciras, Madrid (via Linares-Baeza), Barcelona and there are nights trains in both directions with Malaga and Sevilla.
There are three ways to get train tickets from Granada; on the Internet, through the RENFE webpage, at the ticket offices of the station, where you can pay by card or cash, and finally, you can also buy train ticket through travel agencies, although they charge a commission, but little.
Granada train is located on Avenida de Andaluces, near the university area and the bullring. Note that the station doesn’t have a very high-speed line, so the connections are not as fast as in other cities. The truth is that Granada is not famous for having good communications, including the train.
