festivals in Granada
1. The festival of the crosses

One of the biggest festivals in the city of Granada. This festival, a religious holiday, comes at the start of every Easter. Besides enjoying this Spanish tradition, you can see the festive atmosphere among young people and university students in the city, because on this day, they do a full day of partying and dressing up.
2. Sonderos Festival

One of the festivals of modern music, and flamenco in the city. It is usually held in July, and in 2010 it was represented by great artists such as Bug, Fuel Fandango, and DJ Panko. A good opportunity to get away and enjoy their music and culture of the city.
3. Albaicín Festival

Situated in a neighbourhood clos to our hostel, at the Albaicín in late June you will have the opportunity to enjoy a holiday dedicated to this famous neighborhood, where the historical events and the celebration in the streets will not leave you disappointed.
4. Fiesta de la Toma

Dedicated to the liberation of Grenada, on January 2 the whole city celebrates in style for this festival. If you decide to spend your New Year’s Eve in the city, extend your stay to this day, because i can promise you will have never seen anything like it.
5. Dance Sevillanas and Flamenco

SIf something is famous in Andalucia, it’s the Sevillanas and Flamenco. We recommend that if you want your typical party to become something different, where you can drink natural beverages prepared traditionally and dance to the sound of the castanets, we recommend you visit different the different places where besides dinner, you can have your first or second drink … and most importantly dance and be taught how to dance Andalucian style. The district of Sacromonte, is a traditional gypsy quarter of Granada, where all the magic of flamenco hides. Other neighborhoods such as la Zambra or la Platería are nearby neighborhoods where you can find these types of places to eat, drink and dance.
